Hi!

I'm Megan Wilson a Photographer studying at UWE in Bristol. I was originally born in Germany but moved to England as a child. I tend to be based around Portsmouth/Bristol but I love to travel and explore the world.

I have always enjoyed photography and I love capturing photographs from new angles so the viewer can see everyday objects and places in a new way. My projects tend to be based around body positivity and the wellbeing of people whether this is by making my subjects feel proud and comfortable looking at themselves or using still life to show the beauty in the imperfect. For this reason I don't retouch the skin or my subjects.

 

Although I photograph a variety of subjects from people to objects my work tends to be quite location based. I take the majority of inspiration from the world around me so I'm not afraid to experiment with new ideas to achieve the perfect image. Although, I mainly shoot on location I have the technical skills to complete studio shoots to a high standard.
